We leave Big Sur and head to Palm Springs.
We drive through Los Angeles and arrive in Palm Springs where we stock up on supplies before we head into the desert.
Palm Springs is a vacation destination for many. For us, it’s a place to restock & recharge as we continue our full-time RV living.
When in the area, we often stay in Desert Hot Springs. This time we chose to stay right in the city at Cathedral Palms RV Resort.
We take our van in for some maintenance and discover that our bumper-to-bumper warranty doesn’t cover a $1,000 part. Boo Nissan!
It starts to get super hot in Palm Springs so we douse our bloodhound pup with water before each walk.
We head to downtown Palm Springs and have fun window shopping then return for some real shopping…
We also experienced a haboob for the first time. Two rolled through during our time in Coachella Valley.
One last visit to downtown Palm Springs takes us to a fun store named Just Fabulous. Finally, we pick up our van from the mechanic and are ready to go boondocking in the desert.
Visit our website https://BIRDIEandBAMBAM.com for more of our naturist desert adventures.
Join us next time as we head across the border to Mexico to buy some medicine and receive some dental care.
Very soon we take our full-time travels abroad, across the pond, and beyond…
